IT & Makerspace Intern

I am an IT & Makerspace Intern and Camp Counselor at Branches at Meadowbrook. My work as an IT & Makerspace Intern supports Meadowbrook’s complex internet and wireless systems. I set up devices for faculty and students and maintain devices around the school, including in the makerspace. A non-exhaustive list of projects included branded hats for all staff, custom LEGO organization cabinets, individualized tools and stands for various classes, and bulk production of 3D-printed fidgets for admissions.

As a Camp Counselor, I work directly with elementary and middle school students in various programs. Beyond traditional camp activities, I ran two programs - rocketry and cardboard design. In both programs, kids explored and learned new concepts and tools from my leadership and teaching, created individual projects, and built strong connections with each other and the camp.
