Robotics

I was selected as the captain of FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) team 4466, Gann Academy’s varsity robotics team. I led and inspired my dedicated robotics team to strategize, design, and build a robot to compete and win various competitions and awards. As captain, I fostered an environment where my teammates and peers spearhead the team’s work and can serve as leaders in their own roles. Team members were part of subteams such as CAD, hardware, software, and outreach. I supervised and managed all of these subteams, serving as a mentor to my peers. Beyond my own team, I mentored two other teams at Gann: teams 6308 (all girls) and 8148 (junior varsity). Outside of Gann, I have founded and mentored 8 FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams, including at The Meadowbrook School.
