Paintings For A Purpose 501(c)(3)

Paintings for a Purpose is an annual fundraiser supporting community organizations by raising funds through local artists and their artwork. Today, Paintings for a Purpose is a registered nonprofit with a complete eCommerce website and multiple art shows per year. This organization started in 2021 as a simple cash-and-check-only fundraiser with my Grandfather’s watercolor paintings that relied heavily on word-of-mouth advertisement. Now a formal 501(c)(3), I am the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Operating Officer; I quickly took the reins of the organization, building the infrastructure of the nonprofit from the ground up. Beyond a functional website, I expanded the brand to engage with sponsors and new communities, and to build a social media presence alongside our partners. I designed and 3D-printed custom plaques to assist with the shows and manage the finances and sales. The organization has raised significant funds for local community-based organizations in need and will continue to expand its impact and reach.
